The McComb Panthers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Continental Pirates to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Van Buren (Van Buren, OH). The Black Knights come into the Blanchard Valley challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Van Buren was overwhelmed by Halifax County (South Boston, VA), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Continental falls to 1-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Hicksville (Hicksville, OH) to encounter the Aces in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Aces come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Hicksville lost 8-2 in their recent league challenge against Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH)
