North Carolina High School Baseball - Rocky Mount loses to Holmes

The Holmes Aces the host Rocky Mount Gryphons baseball team by a count of 6-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Aces now possess a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian Brothers Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, April 14. Holmes will face a Colts team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Colts record now stands at 4-0.

Next, the Gryphons face the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Rocky Mount will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 7-7 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC).
