In Thursday's league game, the visiting Nixa Eagles baseball team scored a nice 13-5 victory over the Joplin Eagles.

The Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their game against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Fayetteville overcame Har-Ber (Springdale, AR), 7-0, in a league game.

The Eagles (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Republic (Republic, MO). The Tigers go into the Class 6 District 6 game with a 4-7 record.
