Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) and the host New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), witnessed New Milford's baseball team gain a win over New Canaan by a score of 11-7.
The Green Wave (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils go into the Southwest - Colonial match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Stratford was overwhelmed by Darien (Darien, CT), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Rams (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Hatters go into the Fairfield County match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Danbury edged Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT), 4-2, in a league match.
