The South Adams Starfires baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting New Haven Bulldogs to 7 in the Starfires non-league victory on Thursday.
The Starfires (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Fort Recovery edged St. John's (Delphos, OH), 4-2, in a league match.
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Flying Jets go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Adams Central by Bellmont (Decatur, IN), 5-1, in a non-league match.
