Illinois High School Volleyball - Blue Island Eisenhower can't hold off Lemont

April 13, 2023: Blue Island, IL 60406

In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Lemont Lemont HS volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals.

The Lemont HS (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros come into the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Shepard was edged by Stagg (Palos Hills, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Braves come into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
