The Kellis Cougars topped the visiting Glendale Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon View for a 5A Northwest test on Tuesday, April 18. Kellis will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 19-4.
The Cardinals (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Scorpions enter the 5A Central Valley test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Desert Edge gained a win over Independence (Glendale, AZ), 3-0, in a league test.
