Illinois High School Volleyball - Walther Christian Academy over Islamic Foundation

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) and the host Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL), saw Walther Christian Academy's volleyball squad beat Islamic Foundation by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Walther Christian Academy upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Broncos host Northtown (Chicago, IL) to play the Pumas in a Chicago Prep bout on Wednesday, April 19. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

The Chargers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family for a Metro Prep bout on Friday, April 14. Islamic Foundation will play a squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The record now stands at 1-1.
