In Thursday's non-league test, the host Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-7 victory over the Bishop O'Connell Knights.
The Pirates now have a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Pinecrest for a non-league test on Friday, April 14. Topsail will face a Patriots squad coming off a 22-11 league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-0.
In their next game, the Knights face the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 14. Bishop O'Connell will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to New Bern (New Bern, NC).
