The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) and the visiting Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Blackhawk's lacrosse team top Seton LaSalle by a margin of 20-4.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Lions enter the WPIAL 2A 2 challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, South Fayette was overwhelmed by Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Bridgers enter the WPIAL 2A 2 challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Ambridge was overwhelmed by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 22-0, in a league challenge.
