In Thursday's league battle, the host Westminster Wolves soccer squad scored a close 5-1 win over the Hinkley Thunderbirds.
The Wolves (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Far Northeast Warriors (Denver, CO). The Warriors go into the 5A Denver battle with a 0-7 record.
The Thunderbirds (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Rangeview (Aurora, CO). The Raiders enter the 5A Denver bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Rangeview tipped Overland (Aurora, CO), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
