In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Lyons Lions soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the New Trier Trevians.
The Lions (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Wildkits go into the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Evanston nipped Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Trevians (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the Central Suburban - South battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Maine South was nudged by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
