In Thursday's non-league game, the host Illiana Christian Vikings baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Heritage Christian Defenders.
The Vikings (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Whiting (Whiting, IN). The Oilers go into the game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Whiting was overwhelmed by Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN), 14-2, in a league game.
The Defenders (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN). The Patriots go into the game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Calumet Christian ran past Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN), 18-4, in a non-league game.
