Illinois High School Softball - Morris can't hold off Manteno

The Manteno Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Morris Redskins to 15 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Manteno moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL) to clash with the Comets in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 19. The Comets come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Redskins clash with the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) in a game, on Friday, April 14. Morris will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
