In Thursday's league test, the visiting Palatine Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Hoffman Estates Hawks.
The Pirates now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conant for a Mid Suburban test on Monday, April 17. Palatine will face a Cougars squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a Mid Suburban test, on Monday, April 17. Hoffman Estates will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Fillies/Broncos come into the test with a 7-0 record after their 11-6 non-league win over St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL).
