In Thursday's non-league contest, the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Kellam moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Salem (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Sundevils in a Beach contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Sundevils come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Salem won 10-1 in their recent league contest against Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA)

In their next game, the Knights play the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 13. Currituck County will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 12-7 league win over Hickory (Chesapeake, VA).
