Patrick Henry Patriots (Hamler, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Delta Panthers (Delta, OH), 5-2 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holgate for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Patrick Henry will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Hilltop (West Unity, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Delta falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Northwood (Northwood, OH) to battle the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
