Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Black Hawks now own a 15-11 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Pointe for a 5A San Tan challenge on Friday, April 14. Williams Field will face a Pride squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Pride record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Fairfax falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Stampede host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Bobcats in a 5A Metro challenge on Friday, April 14. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 9-3. Central won 12-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Phoenix, AZ)
