Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers (Indianapolis, IN), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fountain Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Faith Christian will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 16-14 non-league win over Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Indiana School for the Deaf falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Deaf hoosiers host Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Fountain Central won 8-3 in their recent league challenge against North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN)
