Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Phoenix Country Day Eagles (Paradise Valley, AZ), 24-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Heroes now sport a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Arizona Lutheran Academy for a 2A West challenge on Monday, April 17. Heritage Academy will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 21-4 league loss to Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Phoenix Country Day falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ) to face the Crimson Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Crimson Knights enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Trivium Prep won 14-9 in their recent league challenge against Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ)
