Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks (Marysville, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Shorecrest Scots (Seattle, WA), 8-5 in a league challenge.

The Tomahawks now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arlington for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Saturday, April 15. Marysville-Pilchuck will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Snohomish (Snohomish, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Shorecrest falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Scots travel to Monroe (Monroe, WA) to face the Bearcats in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, April 17. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Monroe lost 13-12 in their recent league challenge against Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA)
