Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Saddle Brook Falcons (Saddle Brook, NJ), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host NV - Old Tappan for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Ramapo will battle a Golden Knights squad coming off a 17-9 non-league win over Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ). The Golden Knights record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Saddle Brook falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host River Dell (Oradell, NJ) to battle the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Golden Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
