Indiana High School Softball - Union County bounces Union City

April 13, 2023: Liberty, IN 47353

Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Union County will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Union City falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to battle the Golden Falcons in a Tri-Eastern challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Golden Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Winchester Community lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Union County (Liberty, IN)
