The Romeoville Spartans baseball team (Romeoville, IL), was overwhelmed 17-7 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL)
The Thunderbolts now hold a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandburg for a Southwest Suburban - Blue outing on Monday, April 15. Andrew will confront a Eagles team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-3.
Next, the Spartans confront the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) in a Southwest Prairie outing, on Monday, April 15. Romeoville will attempt to advance on its 4-12 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 6-4 record after their 8-4 non-league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL).
