The Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting DuBois Beavers to 3 in the Bald Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bald Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Mountaineers go into the Laurel Highlands East match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Philipsburg-Osceola gained a win over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA), 3-1, in a league match.
The Beavers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA). The Flying Dutch go into the District 9 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, St. Marys was overwhelmed by Clarion Area (Clarion, PA), 11-5, in a non-league match.
