The Ottawa Pirates baseball team (Ottawa, IL), was overwhelmed 19-0 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL)
The Eagles now hold a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Peoria for a Mid-Illini outing on Monday, April 15. Dunlap will confront a Raiders team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 15-1.
Next, the Pirates confront the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) in a Interstate Eight outing, on Monday, April 15. Ottawa will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 10-0 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL).
