South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals (Port Townsend, WA), 8-5 in a league test.
With the win, South Whidbey upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to University Prep (Seattle, WA) to battle the Pumas in a 1A Emerald Sound test on Friday, April 19. The Pumas come into the test with a record of 3-3.
With the defeat, East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] falls to 1-7 on the season. The Rivals host Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA) to battle the Warriors in a 1A Nisqually test on Monday, April 15. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-7. Seattle Christian 5-5 in their recent non-league test against Chimacum (Chimacum, WA)
