In Saturday's non-league game, the host Granite Falls Tigers baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Mt. Baker Mountaineers.

The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their game against King's (Seattle, WA). The Knights go into the 1A Emerald Sound game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, King's overcame Sultan (Sultan, WA), 6-1, in a league game.

The Mountaineers (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Lyncs go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Lynden Christian overcame Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 8-5, in a league game.
