In Saturday's non-league game, the host High Point Christian Academy Cougars baseball team scored a tight 10-4 victory over the Northwest Guilford Vikings.
The Cougars (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC). The Wildcats go into the NCISAA Piedmont game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Westchester Country Day tipped Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC), 27-2, in a non-league game.
The Vikings (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons go into the Metro 4A game with a 8-10 record. In their last game, Southeast Guilford tipped Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 23-2, in a league game.
