The Jackson-Reed Tigers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Albans (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs go into the Interstate Athletic match with a 12-7 record. In their last match, St. Albans gained a win over Bullis (Potomac, MD), 6-3, in a league match.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their match against School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Penguins go into the non-league match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, School Without Walls gained a win over Cardozo (Washington, DC), 10-0, in a league match.
