The Monroe Bearcats baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Juanita Ravens to 4 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bearcats (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Marysville-Pilchuck (Marysville, WA). The Tomahawks go into the 2A/3A Wesco match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Marysville-Pilchuck was edged by Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA), 6-5, in a league match.
