The Lake Country Lutheran Lightning crushed the host Wauwatosa East Red Raiders baseball team by a count of 8-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lightning now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waukesha West for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 13. Lake Country Lutheran will face a Wolverines team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Hamilton (Sussex, WI). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Red Raiders face the Menomonee Falls Phoenix (Menomonee Falls, WI) in a Greater Metro bout, on Monday, April 15. Wauwatosa East will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Phoenix enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 16-3 non-league win over Nicolet (Glendale, WI).
