In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Whitley County Colonels baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Lexington Christian Eagles.
The Colonels (12-7) will now prepare for their game against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds go into the District 50 game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Corbin tipped Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY), 12-2, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores go into the District 43 game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Tates Creek tipped North Laurel (London, KY), 9-7, in a non-league game.
