The River Pilots baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Madonna Blue Dons to 3 in the Pilots non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pilots (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Caldwell (Caldwell, OH). The Redskins go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AA match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Caldwell edged Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH), 5-4, in a league match.
The Blue Dons (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Tyler edged Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV), 11-1, in a league match.
