In Saturday's non-league game, the host Union City Soaring Eagles baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Morristown Colonials.
The Soaring Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Ferris (Jersey City, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the HCIAL - American game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Ferris was overwhelmed by DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ), 17-3, in a non-league game.
The Colonials (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Hillsborough was overwhelmed by Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 5-1, in a non-league game.
