The Valley Christian Academy Lions volleyball team (Santa Maria, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Merced Bears (Merced, CA)

The Bears (17-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Madera South (Madera, CA). The Stallions enter the non-league challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Madera South defeated Hoover (Fresno, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 13. Valley Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 5-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Immanuel (Reedley, CA).
