Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT), 14-5 in a non-league battle.
The Wreckers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wilton for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 18.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - I battle, on Tuesday, April 16. East Lyme will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT).
