In Saturday's league battle, the host Elkhorn South Storm soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Denver Cyclones.
The Storm (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Gretna (Gretna, NE). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Gretna was overwhelmed by Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Cyclones (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Jefferson nudged Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
