The Lane Tech Champions held off the host Lake Forest Scouts soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Champions now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marine Leadership Academy for a Chicago Public Premier match on Wednesday, April 17.
With the loss, Lake Forest drops to 1-4 on the season. The Scouts travel to Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to encounter the Bulldogs in a North Suburban - Lake match on Tuesday, April 16. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 1-7. Waukegan lost 6-0 in their recent non-league match against Lakes (Lake Villa, IL)
