Virginia High School Softball - Bath County gets by Giles

The Bath County Chargers nipped the host Giles Spartans softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Chargers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Eastern Montgomery held off Radford (Radford, VA), 24-5, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans play the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 24. Giles will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
