The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) and the host Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH), saw Westlake's lacrosse team achieve victory over Canfield by a margin of 9-3.

The Demons (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH). The Shoremen enter the Region 1 challenge with a 1-6 record.

The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Boardman edged Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH), 15-13, in a non-league challenge.
