Colorado High School Lacrosse - Ponderosa drops to Cheyenne Mountain

April 13, 2024: Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO), 18-4 in a league battle.

The Red-Tailed Hawks now have a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Littleton for a 4A Southern battle on Tuesday, April 16. Cheyenne Mountain will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Lions record now stands at 0-8.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a 4A Southern battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Kadets come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO).
