The Grand Ledge Comets lacrosse team scored 20 points and held the host St. Mary's Prep Eaglets to 2 in the Comets non-league win on Saturday.
The Comets (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Haslett (Haslett, MI). The Vikings go into the Capital Area match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Haslett prevailed over DeWitt (DeWitt, MI), 14-4, in a league match.
The Eaglets (0-5) will now prepare for their match against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record.
