The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), saw Lockport's lacrosse team nudge South Elgin by a margin of 9-8.
The Porters (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Indians enter the South Suburban challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Minooka edged Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 8-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Storm (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Whip-Purs enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Hampshire edged Jacobs (Algonquin, IL), 16-3, in a league challenge.
