Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. Meridian will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bear Creek (Redmond, WA).

The Falcons now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bear Creek for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. South Whidbey will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-2.
