St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Archbishop Molloy Stanners (Queens, NY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Friars now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Massapequa for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, Archbishop Molloy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Stanners travel to St. Joseph Hill Academy (Staten Island, NY) to face the Hilltoppers in a Bronx/Westchester challenge on Monday, April 15. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
