Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton for a West Suburban - Gold challenge on Monday, April 15. Willowbrook will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Kennedy (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Argo falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL) to face the Cardinals in a South Suburban challenge on Monday, April 15. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Blue Island Eisenhower won 18-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Thornton (Harvey, IL)
