The Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) softball routed the host Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL), 14-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Pioneers (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Crimsons go into the Central State Eight bout with a 5-8 record. In their last bout, Jacksonville toppled New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL), 12-2, in a non-league bout.
