The Pinckneyville Panthers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Carbondale Terriers to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Pinckneyville moves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Panthers host DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL) to clash with the Indians in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi game on Monday, April 15. The Indians come into the game with a record of 7-11. DuQuoin lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Benton (Benton, IL)

In their next game, the Terriers clash with the Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 17. Carbondale will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Midgets come into the game with a 16-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL).
