Westlake Warriors (Westlake Village, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Poly for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. Westlake will battle a Parrots squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Chatsworth falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Chancellors travel to Cleveland (Reseda, CA) to battle the Cavaliers in a West Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 5-9. Cleveland lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA)
